2006 – 2009 | Amor Que Sana (Love That Heals)-This is a free clinic that offers food, clothing, needle exchange, and medications for the indigent of Ponce, Puerto Rico. The individuals are mainly IV drug users and homeless. I served in the capacity as a medical student during my years in Ponce School of Medicine helping out mainly with the clinical aspects of the project. |
2002 – 2005 | NCSU Emergency Medical Services Organization- Created the organization in the fall of 2001 to provide college students the opportunity to become certified as emergency medical technicians as well as provide their services at university events. |
